So ya, that's all. For those first time competing, it is advisable to bring some snacks along like banana as you might not have time to go out and eat. Also, i expect to see all of you at least an hour before your events so don't be late. Rmb to bring your long socks along and make sure you have the FIE plastron. Lastly, Let's all jiayous for this comp and bring some medals back for our school! =)

Hey...
Um...just wanted to thank all the fencers for helping out at the roadshow on Friday..
Great job in getting those 50+ sec 1s to sign up, even if we can only take in 10...lol.
Sec 3s: Thanks for choinging the posters/flyers/ppts in time >.<
Know that some of us spent sleepless nights b4 roadshow organizing...
but hey, it was an interesting experience...I think.
Sec 2, thanks for wearing the suit/dragging ppl/hanging posters etc.
hope the thought of organizing all that next year comforts you :)
Going-ROD/ROD-already people: that stopped by and helped,
thanks for coming down *even if it was to slack.* it was cool.
P.S. Call your sec1s by today, if after 2 calls they don't pick up then
Remind them abt tryouts & ask for their classes (Our logistics manger's fault *ahem*)
Try-outs are Monday, 3.30pm at the MPH

Competitions
Hi, I'm lazy to write the full details so I will just talk about the more important stuffs.Next year NOVICES individual is on Jan 30-31, NOVICES team is on Feb 6.
Then INTER-SCHOOL FENCING CHAMPIONSHIPS is on Apr 5-8.
And if you want to know, next year Youth Olympic Games is on Aug 14-18.
Lastly, Singapore MINIME U-14 individual and team is on Sep 4-5.

Hey...
If you've been coming for trainings, then you'll already know this...but for those that don't..
Coach Wong asking us to go for extra trainings on Fridays at Newton CC.
Capt. Ginny has made this Friday compulsory so yeah...its for our own good lar...
Venue: The CC outside Newton MRT
Time: 7pm to 9.30pm
Some of us are meeting at CCK MRT at 6pm on Friday (1/1/10) to go together..
For those with car can go yourself 0.o Anything else ask Ginny.
Hopefully this helps for 2010...bring BPGHS Fencing back into the light =p

Hwa chong open
Hi, the events tmr are as follow:0900 Registration(compulsory)
1215 Reporting-Individual Men's Epee (category C)
1300 Reporting-Individual Women's Foil (category B)
1430 Reporting-Individual Women's Foil (category C)
1700 Prize presentation
So for the participants who can't make it earlier just come one and a half hour earlier than your reporting time. For those not competiting, pls do come down and support. After all, we are a team.=) For the participants, tmr rmb to bring your equipments, water bottles, indemnity forms, long socks and some food or snacks to eat. We are meeting at 7 outside lot 1 macdonalds in the morning to eat breakfast and go there so those who do not know the way can join us. The venue is hwa chong institution kah kee hall. So see ya tmr and rest well today!

Good news, our blog is now un-dead...
Got a few announcements to make, so take note plz.....
1. HCI Fencing Competition on 22nd December
Events will go as follows:
Category A - Men's Sabre
Category C - Men's Foil/Epee
Category B - Women's Foil
Category C - Men's Sabre/Women's Foil
The competition should start at 0800 or so, and ends sometime at 1800...*8am-6pm*
We're meeting @ CCK MRT at 0700 that day and going together...

Indemnity forms to be submitted on 21st December Training (Next Monday)
2. Tanglin Secondary School Fencing Open
Date: 19 December 2009, This Saturday
Venue: Tanglin Secondary School, somewhere west of Singapore

Unfortunately, half the fencing team is overseas/on cruise/busy on that day ==
BUT. That means the other half can go...

3. Fencing Outing
We haven't managed to settle on a suitable date/activity for our outing. ==
With the remaining few weeks, we should kinda decide the stuff now...
Ideas pitched so far are:
Ice-skating
Bicycling
Movie
Eat Buffet
Choing Homeworking session....
Anymore ideas? Otherwise pick 2 of the above and tag on the tagboard..
Fencing is democratic, we go by majority votes =.0
our *ahem* dear captain says can use Post-Comp PT days to go out...
IF we do PT outside ( Biking, skating etc.)
Feedback/Comments/Suggestions/Questions on the tagboard....
Competition Reminder: Bring long socks...they are your fencing passport.
